Queensland Geotechnical Database

ODI Australian Network is proud to have been part of the collaborative effort to establish the Queensland Geotechnical Database (QGD), launched on 3 October 2017.  The QGD includes over 450 Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) borehole logs from around the state.  The open access website aims to serve as a repository for geotechnical investigation information in Queensland to facilitate design and construction efficiencies.

The current focus of the QGD is upon exploratory information collected to support public works projects.  The launch follows an Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS) presentation on 25 August 2016 and observations of on-going progress made by the New Zealand Geotechnical Database.

Please visit the QGD and email admin@qgd.org.au with any questions.

ODI Australian Network acknowledges and thanks the AGS and TMR for their support in the creation of the QGD.
