Megan’s first career was as a government lawyer, specialising in the field of planning and environmental law. State government departments, Ministers and local governments were some of Megan’s main clients. As a result of working within government, Megan gained an appreciation of the significant opportunities available for change and improvement in the way that data is stored, accessed and made available.
2017 has brought with it an exciting career change for Megan, with her commencing as Executive Officer with ODI Australian Network in February. In this role, Megan is responsible for coordinating and managing open data projects and providing administrative support for the Board and the CEO.
